* I got bored one day last week and looked up bases that Josh could be stationed at with his specific MOS and was devastated (there are no words for my sadness, really) to find out that Fort Carson, Colorado was not an option. Luckily Germany and Italy are both still options. Anyway, we did some research and when he has to put his "wish list" together we've decided to try for Campbell (KY/TN), Hunter Army Air Field (Savannah, GA), or Fort Hood (TX). From what I've been reading about the bases and going by how much we both loved Savannah, I think Hunter will be our top US choice. I'm still not-so-secretly hoping for Europe, though.
* We were finally off of over time at work, then one of my coworkers went and got accepted to the Bco. Police Academy ... Jerk! Seriously, I'm happy for her and I wish her the best. But, we'll be back on overtime again for Christmas ... ugh. The one good thing is that I'll be on all day shifts now and for the rest of my time at this job :)
* I went online a few days after Thanksgiving and found that ACE, the company that I want to get certified as a personal trainer through, was having a sale. I got the premium package for the same price as the standard! I couldn't pass that up. I got the package Monday and dove right into it. I have to sign up for a test by May and I fully intend to pass with flying colors. This is something I've wanted to do for a while and I'm so excited about it!
* I started a new workout routine last week and it's kicking my ass. And for someone who is in decent shape, that is saying something. I'll definitely be sharing about it, hopefully in the near future. I've also started doing a bit of yoga which has been helping a lot, too.
